Go Topless Day 2013

I'm looking to go out with a big group this GTD. I live in the western KY/LBL area and would probably look for some where to go around there. Does anyone want to join? Everyone's welcome. And if someone has better ideas to go we can go there.

FAMOUS REBORN 02-27-2013 05:39 PM

I live in Bowling Green. When is this day and what did you have in mind?

Afrey1209 02-27-2013 10:24 PM

May 18 it's a Saturday. Me and a friend are going to lbl and maybe her dad if he gets his jeep running by then. Your welcome to join if you want to!

FAMOUS REBORN 02-28-2013 08:53 AM

Sounds great! I will be there. Is there any fees? and are we just gonna ride or is camping involved as well?

Afrey1209 02-28-2013 09:10 AM

So far just ride but I think camping would be a lot of fun to. I'm planning of pulling out my back seat. So I have more room. And packing a cooler with drinks and lunch. I'm not sure about fees. Ill look it up and post about it

Krawlersaur 03-02-2013 12:25 PM

Sure you can come! We'll have to figure out all the details. But we have a while!

Afrey1209 03-03-2013 08:22 PM

Does any one have a winch in case we get stuck? we might need one.

FAMOUS REBORN 03-03-2013 10:29 PM

Afrey1209 03-03-2013 11:12 PM

Afrey1209 03-04-2013 08:24 AM

BAP 03-04-2013 07:30 PM

That would be fun! I'm thinking about camping out or at least staying at my friends house rift next to lbl so I can go out both days.

FAMOUS REBORN 03-05-2013 09:06 PM

I don't think we have to reserve a place or anything but my wife is going and we are excited.

BAP 03-06-2013 06:38 AM

good to know other wife,s/women are going,,,that will make it easier for me to talk mine into going...she has never been on a jeep meet and ride,,,i know she will like it if she just would give it a try---lol

we can sleep 6 or 7 comfy in the motorhome, have cooking shower and seperate bathroom.. for those that dont want to tent it..

Afrey1209 03-06-2013 08:11 AM

Sounds great! I didn't want to be one of the only two girls anyways. Bring your wives!!

FAMOUS REBORN 03-07-2013 09:16 AM

My wife has been on only one ride and we almost flipped. That was six years ago and I finally got her to go this time. So I recommend you take it easy if its her first time. If you don't scare her she will be addicted.

Afrey1209 03-07-2013 02:25 PM

My jeeps a baby. Lol he can only do so much but hopefully I won't get stuck this time. We can take it easy at least the first day so we can definitely make it til the next. Also I have to drive mine to school that Monday. I'm not washing him or putting the top on! Lol

BAP 03-08-2013 06:24 AM

Turkey Bay ORV Park is 15.00 for three days. :wavey:
There are many just plain old every day trails on LBL and most, if not all are fairly mild. Have not explored them all and backwoods camping is legal with a permit.

I am to. To a degree. I always push myself but I don't want to push my jeep to far and have something break... Since ill have to drive it.. But it should be warm. I want to be completely topless and maybe even doorless. I'm thinking of building something to go in the back when the top is down and back seat is out so I can my stuff under it and not have worry about it blowing out or getting stolen.. And put water sealant on it so it can just be hosed off when it gets dirty. Does it sound good?

I've never explored out there but 15 for three days isn't bad. Camping sounds great. And we can bring s'mores! We can go in and out of turkey bay and where ever else. What ever we feel like!

BAP 03-09-2013 05:52 AM
