Spokane

So after owning my jeep for 2 weeks i found that i have a leak coming from my tranny/transfer case.
I have a power train warranty with a 100$ deduct.
I called the car lot and asked them about it and they referred me to A1 Automotive.
I know nothing of that shop and since the warranty is only 2 yrs or 24k miles. I wanted to make sure i take it to a place that knows jeeps and can make that thing bullet proof...

Any places around here that you guys know of?

There's a guy down on Sprague near napa that sells and works on Jeeps. He's supposed to be really good but I've never used him.
If it's a tranny leak I'd simply go to a tranny shop.
Good luck.

Well im not sure that the leak is all that is wrong. I have only had it for a couple weeks so i wanna make sure i dont fix the leak and end up having to replace the tranny the day after the warranty runs out....lol

You mean the place about a block or so west of napa?.... on the north side of the street?.. i drove by a lot that seemed to have a bunch or jeeps there... maybe one wrangler.

Yep, that's the place.

BTW, welcome to Jeeping in Spokane.
We're out on Park rd in the valley.

My brother told me about a place i believe its called puckmyers? something like that... they did some work for him and said they do all kinds of 4wd stuff.
But this coming from a guy that wont wear anything but carhart or camo...lol

I'm up on the northside by rogers.

Be careful going to a specialty shop for a mundane problem. One of the things I've noticed around here is the 4x4 shops charge more because they're "4x4" shops so they think they're special.
Transmissions in 4x4's are the same as transmissions in anything else they just attach to another set of gears.

Here's a list of local 4x4 shops. I can't really recommend any of em since I've never used em.
