Mine is the same thing. I have an 87 and there is no bow in the springs at all.
My first step is going to be a 4inch lift and go from there.

install the traction bar before the new springs, or else your nice new springs are just going to bend up like your current ones currently are.

I did 3-1/2 lift double wrapped springs. It was very stiff and would not
Flex i would get bound up so stiff that I spun my tires on any UN level terrain. It didn't make since I mean it was rediculous. So I started looking into it springs and shocks all installed correctly so I took off my so called track bars restriction bars are what they are to me the design in my opinion on the trac bars is for level surfaces. Anyway trac bars off sway bar left on and it flexes like no other and way smoother ride. I mean flex the bump stops are actually needed now 93yj 2.5l

Dnt even put the trac bars back on but do keep sway bar. Now I'm not a certified mechanic but I know my Jeep and do all the work on it. If you put those trac bars on with that ⁴" lift let me know how it rides and flexes. Thanks

My springs have held up 100% without tracbars they have not flattened at all.
when I first put the new springs on I put my track bars on as well cause why not right well my lift settled I lost bout a 1/2" no big deal I reckon but since I've removed the track bars I haven't lost anything. They may wear out faster than with the t bars on but It wont be drastic. Cjs Had no track bars. There not there to keep your springs from wearing out are they. Either way my Jeep likes the track bars off. I've heard of others who didn't like the steering with them off.or that they were used to address the roll over issues that the cj had however, they also made the width of the springs from each other much wider on the yj that alone is what resolved the rrollover problem. Anyone got any experience on this

Sorry but also if your springs flatten back out because you put them on first let me know what kind they are. I just don't agree with that. But would like feedback.
