Mopar/kicker speakers

I see where you can replace straight across the factor speakers for the 77kicker10 speakers is it something worth doing ?

Not sure how they sound. What I would love to see is the current Jeep sound offering to use a 4point mount instead of making the audio industry try to conform to an awkward mount. I personally wouldn't do it, but you never know... they may sound pretty good.

From what I understand the 77Kick10s are an improvement over stock, including the stock "premium" speakers. I cannot recall where but in some thread someone said the magnets are much bigger with the KICK10s and do sound better. You could probably search the forum and find numerous threads scattered about regarding those and polyfilling.

This may be the main one for JKs:

I have 4 of them in my Jeep. They are plenty loud and sound fine with my amp. You can get speakers cheaper, but they would not be a direct swap. They are manufactured by Kicker, not Chrysler in case you're wondering. They handle everything I throw at them.
