Jacksonville area land use help

I'm in town for a couple days and am looking for a quick Offroad adventure. Anyone know legal land use around sr210 in st johns county? Thanks!!

I think you'll have a difficult time finding something close by that area. Several nice preserves not too far away like Guana River State Park and Twelve Mile Swamp, but they aren't open for off-roading. I wish there were some other areas closer so we wouldn't have to drive an hour or more to get to.

If you are looking for a beach ride, there are some nice beaches that you can drive that you will need 4x4 that are about 30-45 minutes away near St. Augustine.

Thanks. I will make it to crook and hard rock soon. Was looking for a place to go with my brother. I really wish the government would open up more land to use.

Totally agree. We have plenty of state-owned natural areas in and around Jacksonville, but almost all of it is off-limits. We drive an hour to get to Osceola Nat'l. Forest which has a lot of trails.

I'm in Sarasota and closest legal area I know of is Brooksville. Ocala is another area but again is over an hour away.

Yeah, I'd like to get to Ocala more but it's a 2 hour drive so half the day is gone just getting there and back.

The only way I'd go is stay the night somewhere. We don't camp so a cheap room close by would do. It looks like a cool area to explore though.
