I'll already be in Helen that weekend (how convenient), but I can come up with a place to meet. Anyone have a preference on which end to start?

Trailsnail 03-04-2013 05:19 PM

Going East to West is nice because it keeps the sun out of your face

cleveland99 03-04-2013 05:28 PM

Harleyrider where could we meet so I can follow you up out of cartersville

You sure you want to do that? You may get stuck early on; on pavement.

And here we go.....

lee indy 03-04-2013 05:48 PM

Hollie has work this weekend. I could probably make it. If I end up installing a truss or not will depend on if I make it.

lee indy 03-04-2013 05:52 PM

I'm in if we do this

If you were to make that drive we should take a side trip to Bend N Hickory and run through Twisted Frame and the Hill where Wei ended up on Ace's Facebook page. It's by Toccoa about 25 miles SE of Helen.

Thank you

I know of a place not to far from tray in clayton. Its a service rd but there is a creek to forge.

dee1025 03-04-2013 06:43 PM

Its a lil more rough terrain than tray mountain. We can try it out also I gotta get the exact location from a buddy.

kappaknight 03-04-2013 06:48 PM

I'd be up for a new place. Even if it sucks if it's new to me, it'll be cool. :)

If there's fording involved, maybe I just won't clean my Jeep this week.

It looks like I'm in for Tray Mt. I have only given the Snail a quick spray. I'm hoping Mother Nature will help me out tomorrow.

The force is strong with this one

Trailsnail 03-04-2013 08:02 PM

Was checking out Google maps. There's an interesting looking road, no name, that runs between Tuckalug Cr Rd and Sarah's Cr Rd just E-NE of Clayton. Other good looking stuff in that area too
