With only doing a 2" lift you won't have to worry about the geometry of the suspension changing much. The OME kit is a great kit to get you running a little bigger tire for more ground clearance. Also if you are going to run the heavy kit, the springs will help with load carrying.
The transfer case drop is really only for lifts above 3" but even then you should go with a slip yoke eliminator (SYE) because it is more permanent and a safer option.
Since you are having a shop install it, make sure it gets aligned because when you do anything under there, you want to get everything squared back up.
