Thats awesome do you guys on trails together? I wish my old man was in to jeeps but hes always owned old collector cars like Jaguars, Mercedes, MG's, Triumphs etc. Maybe one day my son will enjoy Jeeps like me

Thats awesome! My dad is looking at Jk's now that I bought mine. I'm hoping he gets one. It would be nice to go trailing with him.

Way to go! My dad owns a 2010 JKUR and I own a 2012 JKUR. Both red. It's a blast to share such a great hobby!

very nice. My boy is only 11, so we are a one Jeep unit. He did help wrench on the ACE sliders though.

I got my first Jeep as a hand me down from my Dad. (I was already pretty grown myself) It had an unknown amount of miles on it (OD broken), no gas gauge, no stereo (thrice stolen) and a questionable clutch (1st gear is for sissies).

I've been a Jeep guy ever since. Thanks Dad.

Reply from his son

I was a sports car/racing fanatic and then my dad started selling Jeeps. I dropped by to see him one day at his dealership and he said to me "you know Bob your sports car is getting up there in mileage and you might want to think about getting a jeep." I had always wanted a pickup so I started walking around looking at Dodge Rams and then I sat in and drove what is now my 2012 JKU and I was in love. I can't wait for warmer weather so we can hit some trails together.

I think sometimes it skips a generation! My Son could care less. He just sold the Family WJ Jeep that I sold him for a song last year and he bought a New Dodge Charger.

Now my daughters Son (my first grandson) Loves Jeeps. I have to clear things with him and I make him part of every add-on purchase as well as installing these upgrades. His little sister is my "JEEP GIRL" and that's what she calls herself. I've taken both kids off-road on trails they never thought a vehicle go go down. They were not that bad, but they Knew Mom's Minivan would not go down there. LOL!

That's so great you involve your grandkids! That's quality family time and memories they will cherish. Oh, Mom's minivan story.....too funny and cute!
