Brakes are stuck

I'm currently on the side of the road hoping my brakes will cool down and release because they are stuck and i can continue driving when the smell of burn is there. Is there anything i can spray or pour from autozone while i gwt this checked?

I took it mudding a few weeks ago; can this be a reason why this is happening?

Got towed....am working on getting it fixed now. I'm wondering if i have to change the caliper. Am gonna bleed all 4 brakes and check it out. Any suggestions?

That's where I'd start.

Any updates?

Yeap....the piston on both calipers had locked. So i changed them both as well as the brakes. Am not a mechanic at all and this made me fall in love more with the jeep; the fact that it was so easy. The hardest thing was bleeding the brakes, i was just nervous i wouldn't do it right. But all seems to be working fine.

Thanks

You said it did it after going through mud? Did you leave it covered for several days after? I usually Atleast spray off the underside, wheels and brakes afterward. Even if I leave the top muddy to get the crazy looks from people.

Yeah it was about a month after going mudding, however immediately after mudding i sprayed it underneath, especially around the wheels

Idk, I would not think it had much to do with the mud being it was so long afterwards. I think as long as you clean to components you should be good.
