MosesTJ 03-17-2013 04:17 PM

Great time today. We got to see new technology of the JK and good tires vs road tires and the TJ with dated technology! Nice to meet new folks too.
Here's the end result.

cleveland99 03-17-2013 04:58 PM

To the TJ's credit, it was able to do everything the JK did.

Good mud, good people, good times!

Sounds like surprise. LOL. TJ stands for "Tough Jeep"

Well, my tires are all terrains and lack of lockers or the such combined with some really tough mud pits.

Yeah, I run ATs also. I did tough mud a couple times. As fun as it is the cleanup to fun ratio is just not worth it for me. LOL.

MosesTJ 03-17-2013 07:12 PM

It's not just the mudding that's fun, the nature aspect and having a good time with cool people makes it worth the 2 hr clean up for me.
I have spent my fair share of time at different racetracks and this is more fun to me. And I love cars.

That dog sure can drive! Was it hard to strike up a conversation though? I'd imagine there were some moments of awkward silence.

MosesTJ 03-18-2013 11:26 AM

With the dog? No Chewy was cool as hell. The funniest thing was riding behind Chris because chewy was snapping at all the close branches.

Nice pictures man....question; when going mudding what are some of the most important urgent parts to ensure are clean?

Funny I just replied on your thread. I always hit underbelly, wheels, trans, and brakes. You can leave the topside muddy if you want. No problems yet to speak of other than a muddy driveway, come on rain!

jomos411 03-19-2013 08:19 AM

Hey MosesTJ, I just bought my first jeep last thursday and also live in Mcdonough. Where are some places to try out my YJ at? I am running a/t tires also.

cleveland99 03-19-2013 03:44 PM

Hey I might be down for that

MosesTJ 03-19-2013 03:46 PM

I agree, this weekend will be shitty. Plus I need to add a new bumper and winch.
