sway bar disconnect

I have only had my wrangler a couple of months, I am new at wheeling in general, I was wondering how to disconnect my sway bars I have an 04 Sport, what are the advantages of doing this?

#55 torx, loosen bolt, raise sway-bar (rotate) tuck in over coil seat. Do this when off-road for better articulation. On road to ride like a flat bottom boat.

Ok makes sense, thank you, when I connect them should that bolt be tourqued or hand tightened.

snug it down so it won't fall out.

you can pick up a set of quick disconnects for pretty cheap. these are beneficial b/c you dont need any tool to connect/disconect.
