Check your thermostat.
It may be jammed. Only costs a few bucks to replace it anyway, couldn't hurt.

Are you sure you put the heater hoses on the water pump correct? If you reversed them you won't have heat!

yes i just went and double checked there was only one top hose and one bottom hose

Turn your hat on high run it cut the button if a 1 liter bottle off and tape it to your filet neck on the radiator and keep the bottle filed with the antifreeze mixture it should get rid of air pockets

same thing happened to me ,,,you may need to reback flush your heater core...assuming you flushed your system before you replaced your pump.
i had good heat before i replaced my water pump and tstat, after my replacement i lost all heat, i then back fushed my heater core again real good and now have great heat..
best of luck

Thats whats Im experiencing now. New t-stat antifreeze is -20 degrees and low if any heat. So do I just pull the heater core hoses off and run water thru it with a garden hose

I've always found the best way to bleed systems after working on them is to jack up the front of the vehicle, run it up to temp with the rad cap off and keep topping the system off as you squeeze the hoses working bubbles through. Also vary the rpms, you will see the bubbles come through the radiator cap and the level drop a little. Jacking the vehicle makes the radiator cap the highest point in the system.

This happened on my ZJ too, it was luke warm flushed the heatercore with a hose, you should have seen all the gunk fly out of there. Now it's to hot...lol

Well raising the front didn't help. I let to run for about 20-25 minutes and no burp. Gonna try flushing heater core today.

And we have HEAT. Flushed the HC both way for a bout 15-20 min back and forth and a little rusted colored stuff came out. Thanks for the tips.
