35x12.5x15/Viper wheels (CT)

yeeup, its time to make a change. Tires are 35x12.5x15 KM2's and are less then a year old. Maybe 8-10k miles.
Rotated often. Tread looks pretty good.
Wheels are 15" black rock vipers. One is scuffed from a minor accident. Center caps are rusted so I removed them.
Main goal is a more street friendly tire. I've had balancing issues but only because options are limited for shops close to me. They do balance out but will need more attention and a tech with patience/knowledge of balancing tires.
I also want a 16" or 17" wheel to work with my new Synergy tie rod.
Asking $1000

Thanks for looking :D

Ken

If I had a lift on my Jeep I would be all over these!! I am in CT and spent two hours today at the tire shop pricing out wheels and these exact tires in 33".

I would love to.. But being a chick I would have no clue how to install myself ;) That's why I need one.. And new big tires.. So I can look tough. ;)

smontesi81 03-23-2013 10:57 PM

I live in Bristol :)

brunkhorse 03-24-2013 12:18 AM

Yeah great deal I just spent 1250 on 5 new km2s. Would've jumped on these if the timing was right

DJL2 03-24-2013 06:18 AM

I wish I were in CN, actually...I was looking at 33s...but, since those'll cost me 1000 bucks on there own, these look pretty good in comparison.

Tell ya what if you can help with the install I'll send her a skyjacker spring lift with the shocks I took off my 08 jk because I got a great deal on OME replacements! I had no brake line / driveshaft issues at all with the skyjacker lift - all I would need is for the shipping to be covered......

Are the wheels steel?

kjeeper10 03-24-2013 09:36 AM

What size is the lift?

The wheels are alloy w/ 3.75 BS.

eton 03-24-2013 10:27 AM

2.5 - 3in

I ran 35s on 17in rims with no problem with that lift....

If everyone is up for it I can put up some pics of the jeep with the lift installed..

kjeeper10 03-24-2013 11:01 AM

Go for it

This plan has to include buying the wheels and tires you're selling, just in case that wasn't clear......

And I'll extend it to anyone willing to follow the above -

its a great deal that should be taken advantage of.

kjeeper10 03-24-2013 11:53 AM

Wow, I don't know what to say :thumb:

That's a super deal.

And yes. If local I would install or help to install it.

eton 03-24-2013 12:03 PM

It is - and I get these springs and shocks outta my trailer! Its win, win, win...

kjeeper10 03-24-2013 12:08 PM

And I get to install another lift :D

smontesi81 03-24-2013 12:11 PM

You guys are awesome! And so nice..! I am so torn because I really have my mind set on black wheels... My Jeep is crystal red rock with black trim so the steel throws things off. I do agree though that this is a great deal and needs to be taken advantage of.. Especially with the lift now thrown in to sweeten the deal!

kjeeper10 03-24-2013 12:12 PM

There's always plasti-dip

kramer2k 03-24-2013 12:12 PM

Want to send me anything eton? :D j/k

smontesi, to help give an idea of what the tungsten silver looks like on other colors here's my setup.

I'm also running the 15" BR wheels on 35s. The only difference is I'm running GY tires versus Ken's BFG's.

Looks better than I thought actually! Doesn't stand out like a sore thumb like I imagined. Thanks for the pictures.

GoldenSahara00 03-24-2013 12:33 PM

Hey I'll trade you some 33s for those Ken :thumb:

kramer2k 03-24-2013 12:37 PM

Hot damn! Whose red JKU is that with the half doors? That is so badass.
