Questions about Dana 44 swap

Hey guy I just picked up a used dana 44 that I'm going to put into my 97. I currently have SYE and DC driveshaft with 4.5 in. lift on 33's on stock D35. Am I going to have to change anything for this to bolt up? I heard some places say you need to change the driveshaft again and others that its a simple bolt on mod. Can you guys give me more info?

I heard about drive shaft too . I am curios to know what has to be done I want to do this. Does it have disc brakes

No disk brakes. And I don't think it's worth the hassle and money to convert. Not going to get that much better performance to warrant it IMO.

Just found another thread posted by Jerry, he said you only need to change ujoint if the axle is a rubicon dana 44. Other wise it's bolt on swap.

If its off a tj, it'll bolt right up. I did the same thing, it bolts right up.
