More info. Please. Which trails are you running? Tried Googling but only found mountain bikers and an under construction site.

We'll be going up Odessa canyon, around Bismark mine and down Doran, bypassing The Gatekeeper. Some guys in my group do attempt it, but not all.

Hey bud...
Just a heads up ...this is the same weekend as Scouts West annual Calico dayz run.

So it might get really crowded up there with a 100 or so Scouts squeezing through those canyons ...lol!
Just saying ..

XJ_Phil 04-02-2013 04:23 PM

Edwin, you could just send them bus fare and go wheelin until Greyhound gets them back into town. How do you suppose that would play out? LOL

Tomdata 04-12-2013 09:59 AM

What would you guys suggest for minimum tire size and drivetrain require to participate in this event?

I would recommend at least 33" tires and a rear locker.
Anything smaller than 33s is going to bang up the Jeep and be pulled up most of the way.
