regear for 35s but have 33s

i want to regear and upgrade to 35s but my 33s are still good would it hurt to regear for 35s and run 33s? and what is a good gear ratio for 35s

Why not just save the money and regear when you get the 35s?

What engine and transmission do you have?

4.0 5spd manual and because I'm running 3.73 and it's hard to have fun where I wheel with that

keep in mind, brake, steering, and axle upgrades are considered mandatory with 35's. some guys wheel with stock axles and havent had a problem but a lot have. 4.56 would put u at stock power with 35's

i thought 4.56 is optimal for 33s

It is, you would probably want 4:88's

I have 4.10, no complaints. It all comes down to personal preference, if ya can, find some jeep buddies with different gearing and try it out for yourself. But if you are going to regear, get the biggest you can now..I'd even shoot for 5.13. Then you'd be running 35's like stock :)
