Rattle, Rattle, Rattle....

So I have recently come to notice this rattle that seems to be coming from underneath my dash on the passenger side. It doesn't happen all the time, but when I hit bad areas in the pavement that shake/vibrate the Jeep, it will rattle around for a bit then stop. Seems to be more apparent in cold weather. It almost sounds like a thin sheet of aluminum to me that is rattling around but now sure. I may be wrong on the location but it's kind of hard to duck down that far to listen close while driving...lol Anyone else experience this or know what it is and if I can tighten it back up, etc.??

:)

Take the glove box out, go down a bumpy road in cold weather, put the Jeep on cruise, lay down across the console, and you should be able to locate the rattle.

Another way is to take out the glove box, have a friend or family member ride with you to check while you drive down a bumpy road in the cold.

Being a firefighter and making lots of accident scenes, I would suggest the latter, hahaha! Believe it or not, I have had to explain the difference between cruise control and auto-pilot to more than one person!

But yeah, that is the same thing I would suggest. You will just have to track it down.
