Check out Wharton state forest in NJ, tons of riding and they have a few primitive campgrounds you can use. They only cost $7 a night and the riding is free. Look at the local forums for NJ, groups go out every couple weeks.

Your suppose to have a RAC permit to ride at Trevorton, $125 a year

Jeepcrazy89 05-18-2013 07:33 AM

Oh I didn't know you had to have a permit I heard it is free all my buddy's go up and ride the trail hit the mud pits and campout we always went there instead of paying to go in roush creek

You always needed a permit but they never enforced it before. I heard they are starting to fine people and towing cars parked without permits. I rode some of the property and never had a permit but I think I am getting one next year.

We are hitting up the levys this Saturday at C&D canal (MD Side). I've never been but my buddy goes all the time, said he never had a problem.

Look up reading Anthracite company, or RAC permits. You should be able to find something about it there.
