New to jeep life

I'm not looking to get to carried away but interested to know where there are trails in Kansas that are fun but stock can handle?

Fun but won't mess up my new wrangler unlimited?

Thanks

I'd look for public land with forrest service roads.

There is Kansas Rocks, outside of Fort Scott, and Tuttle Creek, near Manhattan. Ks Rocks is privately owned and charges a fee, KS Rocks Park. Tuttle Creek is free and open every day, you just have to be out be dusk.

Tuttle creek is a decent place. Don't actually go out on the lake, you will get stuck. Once you go deeper into the trails things get a bit tougher. There's multiple "lanes" that intersect. However, the park is slowly becoming a mud bogger course. Not an actual ORV park. There's very deep holes that idk if I could get through with anything less than a 4" lift.

You might be surprised at how many good trails there are at Tuttle. I fly over it every day with flight students. I'll take some pics of it later today.
When I was stationed at Ft. Riley in '07-'09 I went to Tuttle a couple times a month. There are MILES and MILES of trails that don't include mud.

If you like unmaintaned roads in the flint hills, head out East of Alta Vista, KS. Little Egypt Rd and other trails in that area are gorgeous for Kansas and not at all difficult.

Glad I was directed to this forum by cavediverjc. I'm interested in doing the same thing with my jeep. I'm completely new to this but the one thing I always hear is to go with a friend. Last thing I can think of happening is getting stuck or even hurt out in the middle of nowhere.
