Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 or Cooper Discoverer AT3
I've been researching this like a lot of others and I've uncovered some pertinent information for others that fall in the same boat.

I've got a stock 2006 Wrangler, 65th Anniversary Edition, with Alcoa 15x8 rims. I'm replacing the OEM Goodyear Wrangler's, 30.5 x 9.5 R15. After all of the research I couldn't decide between the Cooper AT3 or the Hankook Dynapro. I'm moving up in size a bit to a 31 x 10.5 15" and hoping for the best. Here are the specs for a 31x10.5 R15 tire from each company.

Hankook Dynapro:
Weight: 51 lbs
Height: 30.5 in
Width 10.6 in

Cooper AT3 (had to call the company as this info wasn't on their site):
Weight: 44 lbs
Height: 30.2 in
Width: 10.57 in

I decided to go with the Cooper AT3's. I've had them before, 30.5 x 9.5 R15 on a 2000 Wrangler, and liked them just fine. My main concern with my stock, no lift, setup is rubbing, so the small difference in size b/t the tires was a factor. The AT3's are also lighter and, more importantly for me, are American made.

Here's what the old guys look like. New AT3's will be installed on Friday. I'll post pics and rubbing (or not rubbing) updates too.

The Cooper AT3's have been great. No rubbing at all. It's my DD, so I don't regularly take it off road, although my driveway is 500ft of dirt and holes, so it gets 2-4x a day sampling of "off-road" action there. It fills up the wheel wells nice and looks a lot better than the stock 30.5's. Couldn't be happier with my decision.

I realize I'm posting on the TJ section, but would you mind sharing any experiences with these tires (AT3) in mud? I'm not a bud-bogger but I do fish around private ponds and can get into some mud and curious how these tires would perform in that type terrain. Any input from you or other members would be greatly appreciated!

I had my tire decision down to the same 2 tires. I ended up with the AT3s as well. To stay with 255 75r 17 to match my spare there were not
to many choices in AT tires. They get bolted on tomorrow.:D
