New JW Speaker 'drop in' fogs for JK/JKU.

Available in June, the Model 6145 will be available with your choice of a silver or black inner bezel. It was designed to drop into stock bumpers and aftermarket bumpers with a stock mounting configuration.

That looks good !!!!!

Knuckle-Friends 04-04-2013 11:31 PM

What will these cost? Are they simply plug and play? Any different wiring needed? I want to upgrade the foglights on my moab.

truthiness 04-05-2013 07:39 PM

posted all the info that's available at the moment.

nekojku 04-15-2013 07:51 PM

If these were truly plug n play like their headlights are...that would be awesome!

Are there any plug n play LED fogs out there?

I was poking around online when I saw these, not realizing they weren't on the market yet. I think I remember seeing a site where you could pre-order them for around $500, but I'll be darned if I can remember what it was...sorry

alexandermf 05-02-2013 11:20 AM

Those are slick! If they aren't pnp I'm sure itd be easy to make a cheap harness to make them pnp

do you remember if that was a pair? or if that was per light? I can't imagine it being per light... -- BUT, they are JW Speakers...

$^&* something else to add. Just waiting for Memorial Day and hoping for a sale so I can order both fogs and headlamps.

Alan R. 05-21-2013 07:25 PM

Love the headlamps, will have to add this to the list of projects, but the lift wheel/tires are the next priority.

County98 05-24-2013 11:04 AM

$279 each plus $60 each for JK bracket? I'll bet they're awesome but $600 fog lights are out of my reach...

hkngoutdrs 06-11-2013 10:33 PM

Did these come out yet?

nwapache 06-12-2013 08:45 AM

$700 shipped, shazam! I'd rather get a pair of rigid duallies, but they are slick as hell.

^^ yep! :thumb: they do look pretty bad arse... but that's a little steep for fog lights  and the rigid dually D2s can be mounted in the stock fog light holes... and i'd bet they're brighter.

Or you could save a ton and get these.

LED's are HORRIBLE for bad weather. They wash out instantly. These would be for looks only. If you actually want fogs that work, get 3000K HIDs.

cverstij 06-19-2013 12:50 PM

The 6045's are too big and need a special bracket to fit the stock bumper. The 6145's are a stock fit and were due out in June. I ordered a pair for $362, but JW Speaker choked and sent them back to engineering. Now, they are due out in August. :banghead: Really? We can put a man on the moon, but not make led fogs AND meet a deadline at the same time?

abassillo 08-03-2013 11:46 AM

just ordered a pair from quadratec and even though they say in stock on their web ; the email says backordered until 8/9

Here they are a bit cheaper Truck-Lite 4.5'' Round LED Passing / Auxillary Light, Complex Reflector Optics Design (Single Unit) Phase 7 80275 (use coupon code Lifeisgood5 as well for 5% off.)

Unfortunately they don't include the mounting brackets. Anyone know where you can buy those?

I installed a pair of the 6045's in my friends jeep yesterday. Like mentioned before, you just need a special bracket to mount them and also need to cut the harnesses to wire them together to work with the existing fog light control. Overall they look great.

jacksonian 08-06-2013 08:15 PM

Just ordered a set of the 6145's from Quadratec. They haven't gotten their first shipment in yet. But the price is $299 for the pair, not $349 each as someone had thought earlier.

Just ordered at set from Quadratec as well. Don't forget to tell them you are a forum member to get free shipping! Might be September before they get them in to ship out....

Got confirmation that my 6145s shipped today from discountfleetsupply.com

Perfect! I wanted Truck Lite headlights but didn't know what fog light bulbs to get to match the headlights. This is MUCH better

Didn't realize TL had fogs out :thumb: so mounting brackets are needed?

Tweak 08-14-2013 11:05 PM

$600 will buy a 50in lightbar, are these fogs really this good?

hkngoutdrs 08-25-2013 09:16 AM
