Newk,

Yea, there should be no problem with The Smittybilt Tailgate Cover fitting. The tailgates are basically identical, other than the hinge location and the vent on the later TJ's.

The cover simply screws into the tailgate, so the install is super simple. It'll take about 15-20 minutes to do, only because you have to mark and punch the holes.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

I didnt think really think there would be a problem. Just asking to make sure. Hate to spend money on that and have it not fit for whatever reason. You have one btw? Thanks man.

Newk,

I do have one. I'm running it on my JK right now. It's a pretty cool product, I have a few different bags that it came with. Plus, I went to a local surplus store and picked up some more MOLLE pouches for different things I wanted to store.

They come with an assortment of pouches, so the ones that i have may be different from the ones you get. I also want to get a set of our Smittybilt G.E.A.R. Seat Covers.

Let me know if you have any other questions! You can also give our Jeep Experts a call at 800-988-4605.

The gear for the front seat, does it have lots of storage space? I was thinking about just getting two front seats so they match

Yea, they come with 6 or 7 bags per seat. Then like I said before, you can go to a surplus store and get a ton of extra bags. The have ones specifically made for flashlights, Camel Backs, coolers. The possibilities really are endless with the MOLLE system.

The seat covers are sold individually, so you'll have to order two of them. We do offer a discount for Wrangler Forum Members, along with free shipping on orders over $75.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
