Tailgate Luggage Rack

So I finally decided to do some small maintenance on my Jeep. Got some things for sale too...

I removed the luggage rack from my tire carrier. I do not use it and haven't used it since I bought the Jeep. Anybody want it? I do not know what to sell it for seeing as I am just now getting into the jeep scene. I tried to look them up and all I could find was tailgate luggage rack for $300-$500. Don't worry, I don't want that much. All hardware is attached except for there are two bolts sticking out of the top (I would assume they are there for tiedown points) and one of them has a wing nut, the other one does not.

I am in San Diego county. I would take cash, paypal or possibly a trade. PM me for more info. I really don't know what I want for it because I do not know the value so right now, I am looking to maybe trade. If you want to buy it, let me know as well. Best offer wins.

at the bottom of the two support poles, there is a hole drilled from left to right. So all you would have to do (assuming your rack doesn't have predrilled holes) is drill a hole through the pre existing rack for the bottom holes to line up. I hope that makes sense

so you'll need a tire carrier to mount this? I haven't got one of those yet so if that's the case i'll move along quietly...

I apologize for it taking so long for me to get these pictures up. Just had a busy week this week. Here is what I got. The luggage rack bolts to my pre-existing tire carrier through 4 mounting bolts. I vertical posts on the tire carrier, at the top, slide into the bottom of the luggage rack. The two holes in the tire carrier (one under my jerry can and one near my hi-lift) go to the slanted posts that come off the luggage rack. I posted up some pictures to give you a better idea. Red to red and blue to blue.

If you have not trashed it . I would be interested in it . I can drive to San Diego . Funds are limited so if your willing to take an offer . I will pm you

the rack is still available. I have resorted to selling the tire carrier as well. I have had a few people not buy the rack because they do not have a way to install it. PROBLEM SOLVED!!! My tired carrier allows the rack to install perfectly...

any takers now?

I've considered getting one of these. How much are you looking to get?

Gov875 05-07-2013 05:36 PM

Who makes the tire carrier? How much would you be looking to get (you can PM me if you'd rather not list it) I'm back interested since i want one of those as well! I'm in SD too and could pick up easily. Thanks!

BWolfE84 05-07-2013 06:02 PM

I am not sure who makes it. I bought the jeep and it was already on it. The only bumper/tire carrier that I can find online that resembles it is rampage but mine has a Jerry can holder on it, a way to lock a hi-lift (not the best way) and a luggage rack. If I sold the bumper, tire carrier with the Jerry can rack and the luggage rack, I probably would start taking offers around $400. I can't seem to find a carrier with all those options for anything less then that

Gov875 05-09-2013 04:36 PM

oh wow, ok too rich for my blood. Good luck with the sale though! If it comes down to scrapping the thing i'll take it off your hands just can't afford the 400 tag to take it all.

BWolfE84 05-09-2013 05:34 PM

thats cool man. I get it but you could always make me an offer. Trying to find someone who can just take the luggage rack is going to be difficult because they will need a tire carrier/bumper that allows the installation of one. Selling my complete kit might just be easier. I have been looking at a new kit anyways. What would YOU like to pay for the kit?
