yellow pine potential mods.

ive got a 97 tj 2.5 with a 2.5" pro comp suspension lift on31" tires. pretty much no other performance mods yet but was invited by some family friends to yellow pine for the annual rally this summer, just wondering what kind of mods should I think of doing before this trip? really if you had $500 to spend how would you best allocate it. already have most simple recovery gear things like high lift, tow strap, extra shackles, 10' tow chain, tool kit, ax, shovel, come along, and other simple stuff. what I'm really wondering is will I NEED a winch, LSD, locker, bigger lift? any of these things? I'd rather not spend money I wont need to spend, as I'm supposed to be getting married a month later and well its really expensive.

As long as you know ur limits for the way your set up u should be fine i don't know if you have swaybar disconnects yet if not I highly recomend getting some they are easy to make or Cheap to buy u can look up how ppl have made there own under the cheap and easy mods thread for tjs u may consider picking up a small air compressor from harbor freight or many just a small
Air tank

Usually pol are really good about helping others out on the trail LOL (not like when ur on the side of the free way and everyone passes you buy)

yea, so what im gathering is that it'd be better to be equipped with gear than modded out for this first trek. ive been meaning to make sway bar discos anyway, and get an air compressor and air tank.

10 gallons? wow, thats a fair bit of gas.

Ya that's just my preferance but I wheel hard and almost always in low range haha and usually if I go on a trail run I'm 40mile from gas :/
