Anybody out there have this top on their jeep? Do you like it? Pictures? I now need a new top seems how a deer jumped through mine and shattered my windsheild as well

Wranglin4Life 04-14-2013 08:56 PM

Yeah here's a few it jumped right into the side of it! Poor jeep! 👎

YJ Simpson 04-15-2013 06:03 AM

Ouch man sorry bout the Jeep. I do not have the top but I talked with a guy who has it for his newer Jeep and he loves it. I wish I would have gone with that last year instead of new hardware and and the top itself...

Wranglin4Life 04-15-2013 08:12 AM

Wow thats quite a bit of damage. Sorry to hear that happened. I have heard nothing but good things about the top.

Lt. Ray T. 04-15-2013 09:28 AM

Bet that was in interesting ride when that went down.

Surfinglbi23 04-15-2013 10:35 AM

Hope no one got hurt!

Michigan jeeper 04-15-2013 10:36 AM

Yeah but that's what I have insurance for haha but I think I'm gonna end up going with this top plush it's alittle cheaper too!

Wranglin4Life 04-15-2013 11:13 AM

Well let us know how it turns out.

Michigan jeeper 04-15-2013 06:32 PM

When I end up getting it ill make sure to post pictures!

Michigan jeeper 04-18-2013 02:34 PM

Turns out the insurance company totaled it but I still get to keep it and they are giving me 2400 to get it fixed so 1200 goes towards the top windsheild windows and mirrors and the rest goes tword a winch!

tomjeep 04-18-2013 09:31 PM

Michigan jeeper 04-20-2013 05:47 PM

Nice Job!!!! only issue will be the "salvage title"....or "carfax" I would also look at the Bestop Frameless NX...speaking from experience. Mine is quiet, and has a "sunrider" same as the new OEM tops....but no I can't store windows in the top...but very happy with it...and was only a little over $500 delivered.....Pic here

Blue Rubicon 04-20-2013 05:54 PM

Hope you don't ever plane on selling it. How much for the salvaged title?

No I don't really plan on getting rid of it and I think I'm gonna go with the rampage frameless top because I like that you can store the windows in it when your not using them!

bolibruch1 04-23-2013 12:44 PM

I have a 95 yj, and I got the softtopper frameless top, and boy am I glad I did. Because I just saw the rampage one for the first time and the quality of material isn't even close. the sottopper one is wayyyyyyy better. thicker fabric and made in america....

To refute bad info here that you have posted in several threads today I will repost my response....

So you have nothing but a quick look at the Rampage and you are saying its crap? I own the Rampage... It is made just as well as the Best Top factory replacement top I have. No issues at all with the Rampage top.

bolibruch1 04-23-2013 05:48 PM

it may be made the same as best top, and I am just trying to do my part to let everyone know that the softopper one is much high quality fabric. you can cam flame me all you want but just wait till you can compare both till you pass judgement, and again both work but the softopper is much thicker material...

and no I didn't have a quick look, I got in the jeep checked out the rear bar, (which isn't really a bar in the ramapage but is in the softopper) I had a good look at it...

bolibruch1 04-23-2013 05:55 PM

and of course always wave at other jeeps.

MellowYellow89YJ 04-23-2013 07:12 PM

I have seen the SofTopper.... It is thicker material, good quality for sure, and made in the USA. I got the Rampage because it works with the factory hardware and fits my soft uppers. I have no regrets about my choice and lord it over no one. I am not flamming you.... You are flamming a product which you have no real experience with. My suggestion to everyone is to get what works for the individual situation. SofTopper for those with a hardtop and full doors needing the hardware, and Rampage for those with factory softtop hardware and half doors. Good luck helping other Jeepers with that attitude, Good Day!

bolibruch1 04-23-2013 07:20 PM

I will say it again, you are the one following me thread to thread just to dispute me, and I am the one with atitude? stop being so mad you bought the cheapo china top....

bolibruch1 04-23-2013 07:26 PM

I am sure we can agree on one thing the frameless tops reguardless of brand are all pretty awesome!!!!!

MellowYellow89YJ 04-23-2013 09:36 PM

agreed... Frameless is awesome in any case.

Michigan jeeper 04-25-2013 11:38 AM

I ended up going with the rampage because as you said it fits factory soft uppers and I liked the fact that you can store the windows inside the top when not in use but that you for your input!

You'll love it... I end up using it as a safari top %90 of the time.
