This is my "Help me decide on a tire thread"
I have a 2010 JK with stock 17" wheels, 1.5" spacers and the 19, 60 springs. I have narrowed the search down to the three tires: GY Duratrac, Silent Armor or the MT Kevlar.

I will be driving highway mostly but will run the occasional beach trip and a few dirt roads back home.

Please help me decide on which of these three would be the best fit for my situation.

Duratrac for you. MT/Rs = no good for daily driving and the silent armors are no better than any street tire.

DuraTracs, if your driving mainly on the road/a lot of highway miles you should get an all terrain, it'll last quite a bit longer an it would suit you better. The DuraTracs have an aggressive tread an grip up well so they will work great on an offroad.

The Silent Armor is more a road tire out of that list. I had both the Duratrac's and the MT/R's. I really like the MT/R's better for the trails. A lot of mud in my area though.

From your description, I think you probably be better off with the Duratrac's. They handle well on the trail and are a better road tire. They have a softer side wall and are light weight. They will be a good fit for your needs 285/70/17's

But if you really like the aggressive MT's of the MT/R's here is a pick of mine when I had 19/60 setup with stock 17" wheels and 1.5" wheel spacer

With Goodyear MT/R's 285/70/17 on 19/60 coils
