How much better are IPF H4 JK Headlights (swap) than stock?

I see some mixed reviews when I searched online... just wondering if any JK owners are running these IPF H4 upgrades. How much better are they than stock? (Light output and beam pattern).

Don't want Hella H4's as they don't work with DRL's and don't have a programmer to change them to the parking lights. I have confirmed that the IPF's do function properly with DRL's. Due to cost, don't want led's or hid.

I am putting these in my 2013 JKU in a couple of days so I will post a review.

I'm running these. It's a significant upgrade in brightness. Super easy to do. From what I understand, I could get quite a bit brighter with a cheap bulb change, but haven't tried that yet. If you aren't ready to spend the bucks for LED and don't want to go HID, I'd definitely do this again.

I have done the h4 upgrade in my 05 Rubicon and it was a lot better then I went with 55w hid and I will not go back I love my hid and they only cost me 170 for the kit

I went to www.4wheelparts.com and got the rampage convert very pleased with them and have had them for 6 years and no problems

Posted this thread 8 months ago with no replies in a very long time... In June I bought the KC H4 kit which I'm happy with. I've read that the IPF swap is supposed to be brighter than the KC kit, hence - a little more expensive. I do feel that Halogen upgrades are good for the money. I didn't want to spend the money on a LED or HID retrofit, nor did I trust the inexpensive kits being sold.

If anyone has a review of the IPF to help someone else - feel free to post it.
