Does BFGoodrich manufacture different "grades" of All-Terrains and Mud-Terrains?

I was told my a friend during a 4WD run who runs KOs that different "grades" of BFG KM2s or KOs can be ordered from BFGoodrich dealers that are more expensive than the 'consumer' grade tires that most ppl purchase at their common prices.

Is there any truth to this?

sometimes the vehicle manufacturer will spec a different rubber compound for OEM spec tires usually harder for more tire life
these tires usually are only offered through the car dealership with their PN
the original MTR's on my 03 rubi were harder than a hockey puck and scarcer than a drunk ex with a gun on wet pavement

^^^ True, the BFG mt's that you buy are not the same that come on the new rubi's.

Raptor A/T KO's are another example of this too.
