Smooth Ride of JK Saved my Butt

I was moving some stone pavers for my grandmother last weekend and didn't want to ruin my wedding band in the process, so I took it off and put it on the spare tire. I think you see where I am going with this...

By the time I remembered I took it off, I had already driven the 5 odd miles home. I even told my wife that I had probably lost it. I just assumed it fell off. But it didn't! It was still on the spare, right where I left it! Thank goodness for the smooth ride of the JK. Saved me from looking TOO stupid...

Awesome story.

But why are you wearing your wedding band anyways? Is it to rub it in the faces of those who can't find love or is it to shoo away the mass of women who would normally throw themselves at you?

Sorry.

Mainly because I love my wife. Isn't that sort of the point?

Ha! She is the one that encouraged me to get a Wrangler. Didn't take too much encouragement, though.

...smooth move. ...smooth ride may have been a factor, but so is the weight and size of the ring in a pocket of low pressure air ;)

Sounds like some good karma!

I doubted I'd ever see "smooth ride" and JK in the same sentence ...

I have lost many of tools and some even stayed on

I drove 50 miles until my first name plate fell off my bumper lost it

My pocket drill drove 20 miles and it was still on

My wire strippers lost and my flashlight lost

Seems like you don't learn lessons the hard way very well ;)

I just don't think following a stereotype - the use of a wedding band - is important to knowing you love someone. You either feel it or you don't.

Aaanyyyways this isn't the forum to talk about this. If you respond back then I'll read it but I won't continue it since im just annoying people at this point.

Wow, awesomely smooth roads in Ohio ;)

Trek7.2FX 04-23-2013 10:14 PM

The JK is definitely smoother than the YJ I used to have. It's all relative! Just got back from my first road trip in my JK. I have to say I am impressed with this vehicle this far. And as far as good roads in Ohio... Not so much. Might as well be off road.
