D 60's and D 70's are great if you are going to build a rig capable of 42" tires........:D

AzTJ 12-04-2008 11:34 PM

I don't think those 60's are the same as the older ones.

flattietj 12-05-2008 06:50 AM

in strength they should be the same but they have ball joint outers.......not king pin so no high steer

These appear to have been in a fire. Thats why they are all rusted up and rims have only steel cords on them. who knows what all that heat did to the internals and housings.

If i understand it right that seems like a nice deal.. 2200 for everything.. axles, 38" boggers.. rims.. gears etc.

jeepjeep 12-06-2008 06:53 PM

my buddy just went and bought the boggers for 700$ now he wants a 1k for axles, gears, spool, high steer knuckles, steer linkage, and install kits. the gears /install kits, spool knuckles cost a grand now the axles are free???Its tought to not buy iy, but if i spend that free money, then i have to wait longer to order in the LA kit... tuff decisions...

A good deal happens once in a while, you can order LA kit any day and the price wont really change.. the LA kit is not going to go anywhere :wavey:

flattietj 12-06-2008 11:46 PM

i run that axle setup and you wont be dissapointed if you buy it....dont long arm turd axles....always get your tires/rims and axles before you build your rig

GrnTJ 12-07-2008 12:22 PM

X2 You deff. wanna get your axles first and then lift it once those are ready. And like Trip said, the LA's arent going anywhere, those axles could be gone tomorrow and then you'll have to wait for whoe knows how long until you find another deal and set up similar to that one.

jeepjeep 12-07-2008 03:24 PM

yea, i am trying to get a trailer right now to go and pick them up... it is a good deal. front d44 hp w/ new 4.88/install kit/ spool / high steer knuckles and 1 ton steering linkage then the rear is a 9" w/ new 4.88/ spool/ all for 1k$... ill let you know how it goes

jeepjeep 12-07-2008 11:49 PM
