So I'm replacing my stock foglamps With a new lightbar. Planning on mounting it in the same place what you guys think? Besides the obvious any negatives I'm not thinking of??? Lightbar is not mounted yet it's just sitting there...

Looks good to me! That eliminates hood glare for sure. Take some night time pics after you get it buttoned up! What size is that, btw?

Thanks! It's 20". Here's some pics...

OhSixTJ 04-26-2013 08:10 AM

I like that size. I might need to get one haha

Sinister6 04-26-2013 08:24 AM

Glad I went with 20" instead of 12"... Now I want the 50". Lol
Talk to Chris at JEEPADDONS here on WF...great prices!

OhSixTJ 04-26-2013 09:53 AM

Did you make that plate that's underneath the light? Or does it come like that?

Sinister6 04-26-2013 10:28 AM

Made it out of 3/16 steel. Self etching primer With Rust oleum bedliner... Lock nuts on everything so nobody can steal it...easily. Lol.

OhSixTJ 04-26-2013 10:48 AM

Haha good thinking

I know what you mean about the locking nuts! I went a step further on mine and put lock tite on the bolts haha

My suggestion is to turn the mounting bracket/feet of the light around the other way, so the feet point under the light instead of out to the sides. Makes a cleaner looking install.

Does any one know who makes this light bar? I ordered some KC Aux lights and I want this bar but cannot find who makes it. I have a 2012 unlimited Freedom.

Thanks

You could go really nuts and add a fair-lead with hole for the lights (or just drill them yourself) and add the factory fogs again.

He said on his thread. I believe he said paramount? It's a pretty recent comment

I put a 12" on the hood the other day... There is some hood glare but it looks really good. It's nice having it higher up

LED bars are awesome. This may be my next mod.

CaptnGus 07-26-2013 10:26 PM

Just a dumb question. Is there any issue with engine cooling with the lights and bar mounted directly in front of the radiator?
