Tire pressume monitoring system

Not sure when they started putting the tpms (or the nitrogen filled tires for that matter), but those w newer JKs, I am curious...when you swap out your factory tires/wheels, do most people:

1. move the tpms over to the new wheels or just disable it (is that safe to do)? I have a computer on order so I think I can disable the tpms error

2. put the nitrogen in the new tires like it came from the factory

Nitrogen is a wast of time and money because you will air down and up every time you go wheeling.

TPMS is a personal preference, I just disable mine with the ProCal.

For what its worth, the air you are breathing right now is about 70% nitrogen. Paying for 30% extra nitrogen is the biggest scam.

Seems like a silly thing to me. No place to get fills is the big problem to me. I already have my own reg compressor.

Yea, think I will too. Plus, they charge you to move tpms junk over to the new wheels at discount tire.
