Home Depot $13 bucks !!! Make the top look like new again

Duke1968 04-25-2013 04:14 PM

Is it like cold water? ( cause shrinkage )

jandaso 04-25-2013 05:45 PM

I sprayed the top, scrubbed it and just wiped it down with a rag. No water

Barmanvarn 04-25-2013 06:05 PM

Gonna have to try that. Arkansas isn't as bad but i do have some mud stains on my top that bother me.

jandaso 04-25-2013 06:28 PM

Really do try it... it did take ALL my stains away i left the jeep 3 days with the mud and the sun just baking it and boom is all gone plus there was some other small stains from the previous ownwr that have probably been on that top for some time and they are all gone as well.

That's amazing! I scrubbed my top over and over again with bestop's stuff and it still looked like crap. Sold it for a trektop but will definitely get some for the next trip to Savannah.

kappaknight 04-28-2013 08:35 PM

jandaso 04-28-2013 09:02 PM

Prob will do great on that too

Barmanvarn 04-28-2013 09:09 PM

Will do. I think tomorrow will be sunny so will try to find time. Gotta dewinterize the jet ski as well. Priorities right? LOL

MosesTJ 04-30-2013 07:44 AM

Grab some over the weekend. The spray was only like $4.

2resa 06-12-2013 02:17 PM

Jandaso, big thank you for posting this. Used over 1/2 a bottle yesterday but it got the clay out of the top, vinyl on ORFab doors, plastic/vinyl components on inside, fender flares, and caked on mud on tires. Even tried it on the seats but it didn't work as well there. Thanks again.

Tater Todd 06-12-2013 02:49 PM

Since the pic is gone, what's the name of it?

jandaso 06-12-2013 03:09 PM

grease lighting

Tater Todd 06-12-2013 03:44 PM

How is it in the quarter mile?:nonono::banghead::whistling:

I'll have to pick some up.

MosesTJ 06-12-2013 04:38 PM

It worked decent for me. It needed three coats I think.

jandaso 06-13-2013 07:47 AM

clean as much with water and brush ... let it dry and then use the product without water .. brush it out and wipe with towel

Bought my Greased Lightning last night. Try it out this weekend!

Tater Todd 08-09-2013 09:15 AM

Jk, did you ever use this stuff? May pick some up this weekend.

MosesTJ 08-09-2013 10:54 AM

I tried it. It gets the stains about 75% off. It looks a lot better than just soap and water. I used a semi-stiff brush as well.

Tater Todd 08-09-2013 11:02 AM

Thanks. I'll give it ago.

cleveland99 08-09-2013 03:27 PM

jkdreams 08-10-2013 06:54 AM
