Have to pass Ray headed to Packsaddle Loop Trail in AZ with DW. Maybe next time. Thanks for the post up and have some fun!!!

raythom3 04-26-2013 05:59 PM

Let us know how that trail is. That one has too much highway for me for just 17 miles of trail. I have been driving close to 500 miles every week up and back to Tonopah so I would rather have the ratio reversed a little. You guys enjoy yourselves.

Supposed to be some great views and the back into Chloride an old mining town. I'll posh up when I get back.

I'd like to take this trip, but I'll be headed out with the club.

So tempting but I just took my top off yesterday and I want to wait til my seat covers come in to hit the dust.

raythom3 04-27-2013 05:29 PM

Tires on Thursday, lift on Friday, taken it out next weekend for sure.

gregaf3 04-27-2013 10:48 PM

What lift are you going with Ray

raythom3 04-27-2013 11:53 PM

Decided on Rubicon Express standard 3.5 inch and Nitto Terragrapplers 295-70-18s so that I can keep the stock wheels.

gregaf3 04-28-2013 01:40 AM

Do you still have to run spacers with the sahara wheels? I have a combined 35k miles on my spacers without an issue.

raythom3 04-28-2013 08:42 AM

Yes on the spacers. Glad to hear that you haven't had any issues, that was my concern when I was trying to decide on using the stock wheels. They were one of the reasons that we bought an Altitude, so I didn't really want to replace so early.

gregaf3 04-28-2013 03:50 PM

Just use the red loctite and torque them. Every other tire rotation I recheck the torque @ 10 ftlbs under the original torque value. I have never had a single one loose. I also never let anyone rotate my tires either... they are way too happy with the impact gun for aluminum.
