One of my best freinds from high school {1986} did the meatal work and paint for me. He is the best paint man that I know of around these parts. I had him drive it to the house during my girls B-day party. She did not think it would be done for weeks :whistling: She started this little dance and started to cry. When he got out and handed her the keys she gave him the biggest hug that I have ever seen. Scott my freind daughter died 2 years ago from cancer at the age of 17, I belive this ment more to him that it did her. Great night in all.

good on ya Dad. Mine is similar and I bought it to work on with my son. He's 13, when he's 16, I'll just hand him the keys =)

Best of luck with the Rig and happy birthday to your daughter!!

Gives me goose bumps thinking about. Awesome story and way to go! As they say the family that plays together stays together. I love jeeping with my daughter. Guess I need to focus on finding her a jeep... Love it

The dash frame was totally rusted out so we had to redo the whole dash. As soon as I can get the top down I will take pictures. I haven't seen another YJ with a dash like this :whistling:
