this might sound like stupid question to some of yall but havent been able to figuere out yet myself
how do u keep your rear window fixed upon so the wind doesnt close it while ur driving on a hard top? is it even possible

Not a regular scenario. What are you trying to do? If just cruising around with the back window open, you are fighting the design. The hydraulic lifts are helping it down when the window blows against it. You'd need a prop to keep it open. Might as well remove the top before going to the trouble.

I don't drive with my tailgate window open. I think that it puts a lot of stress on the hinges. I'm thinkin if it was meant to be open while driving Jeep would of put some type of locking feature on it.

Driving with the rear window open is begging for a broken window and sucking exhaust fumes into the cab.

To the OP, your lift supports are probably weak and time for replacement. I don't drive with it open but it would stay.

thanks for input guys ive seen other jeeps around town driving with it up so thought it was designed to have that as a feature...guess not do
