Lift height? and possible trade

Hey guys, I just bought this from a dealer and I'd assume the previous owner took off his wheels and tires, can anyone tell me about the height of this lift? It's got 9.75" gap between the top of the tire and the fender flair, and it's got 30" tires. I'm guessing it's about a 4" lift?

Also, I'm looking to lower it to about 2" lift, if anyone is interesting in swapping or selling off their 2" kit, let me know. Thanks! It's got ProComp ES3000 shocks all around

I have 2.5" Rough Country, been on my jeep for a few months. I would be willing to trade for that nice 4" :whistling:

I was gonna ask where the spacers were in the back... I'm gonna remove the spacers tomorrow and see how I like it with the 31" BFGs or do you guys think that would still be unstable? could I add wheel spacers?

If the spacers are only in front its to elimate the rake. If you remove them then the front will sit a bit lower than the back

As it sits, I think the back sits lower than the front anyway, I've also got a horrendous case of death wobble at 50mph, maybe the slight weight shift towards the front may help? I'm getting tires and an alignment tomorrow as well, so I was gonna ask the alignment guys to take the spacers out

thgr8alex 05-02-2013 08:12 PM

The spacers look to be 1.5 or 2 inch which is pretty big for a leveling kit. Most people use 3/4 inch. Im wondering if you have a tcase drop or an sye. With a shake im guessing you have tcase drop and those big spacers are not helping. Check the tcase skid plate and see if its been dropped and has spacers on it. Also, the spacers you could remove yourself before you get your alignment. Its not very hard, just be sure that the spacers come out before your alignment or the alignment will be useless haha. But yes id take those spacers out especially if the fronts higher than back
