Beautiful Kodiak Alaska. It a great place to own a Jeep. Lots of trails and offroading. Where the road ends, the adventure begins!!!!! And trust me, the road ends!

I wonder how well that good looking Wrangler will handle a 1200 pound Kodiak Grizzly, if he was to comes knocking on your door? That would be a great test to see how well these Jeeps will stand up under tremendous pressure...................
Do you have to carry extra insurance on your ride, because of Bear country?

Magichelmt 05-03-2013 08:48 PM

nice jeep!

Well, there are plenty of Grizzly here for that! I hope I don't ever have to have that type of encounter, lol. Most of the time the bear don't bother you. It's when you spook em, your in trouble! I was out fishing last summer and a momma and her cub walked within 10-15 feet from me, looked at me, grabbed a salmon out of the river and walked away! I was a little nervous and had the .44 mag ready. Trust me, in Alaska, the Wrangler is the "state vehicle."

Insurance is more expensive in AK than any other state anyways from the nature of driving we have to do.
