Uploading Songs & Pictures to Stereo
 
Have any of you had any luck uploading songs & pictures directly from your iphone to your stereo? I tried uploading some pictures yesterday and ran the usb cable from the phone into the usb port on the front of the stereo but it was greyed out and wouldn't let me select it. Do you have to upload directly from a flash drive or something?

Would also like to know if music from Itunes format MPEG-4 Audio File (.m4a) can be downloaded and read or do they need to be converted into MP3 files?:facepalm:

Yeah has to be off a thumb drive... I've only loaded music from cd's so I'm not sure about mp3'S

I always convert my iTunes-purchased songs to MP3's, then delete the original M4A file.

iPod
 
If you have an iPod. I have the classic iPod because it has 128gb of storage and I have a lot of music. In iTunes, I put different kinds of music into playlists. I then connect my iPod to the USB outlet in the console. My radio is the 130. The radio recognizes the iPod and also my playlists.
