Quick brake question

I'm about to change my front disc brake pads on my 02 TJ. Can anyone tell me if they have the normal calipers I can compress with a C clamp or if they have the kind you have to turn and compress with a caliper tool?

Should compress fine with a c clamp. I've used that and the $5 tool from auto zone. Both work fine.

You can compress them with a C clamp. I usually just use a powerbar. They compress quite easily.

C-clamp looks good.

Awesome, thanks for the quick response. I changed the pads on my wife's Grand Caravan and the fronts went straight in with a clamp but I had to go rent a compression/twisting tool for the rear ones. Thanks again.

That feature is primarily found only on rear axles. (But not TJ rear axles.) It's a parking brake thing.
