Can you believe this?!?

Family of three miraculously survive after their Jeep flips more than 20 times down a steep ski slope while they were off-roading | Mail Online

lolpetewtf 05-08-2013 09:05 PM

Fogs are still good

NeoJeep 05-08-2013 09:08 PM

Think that might show up on the CarFax report???

JEEPbug 05-08-2013 09:20 PM

Unreal

Slight fender bender.

bc3_Jeep 05-08-2013 09:23 PM

BUT..... the manual did not SAY stay off of Ski Slopes........ I SMELL a lawsuit......

HK_Runner 05-08-2013 09:23 PM

Did he turn sideways a bit, I wonder. SO SO lucky!

Smythe86 05-08-2013 09:24 PM

Figures it's some !@#$ from my state. But I'm pretty sure you just need some trim restorer and it'll be good to go

There is a big trail rated badge on the left side

kk2800 05-08-2013 09:40 PM

That should buff out.

microage97 05-08-2013 09:46 PM

That jeep won't do that again. I guess the stock roll cage is pretty good..

Dunno, I see one scratch thats pretty deep. I think it's into the paint :(

On a serious note, someone was watching over that family that day. To roll 20x and live is one thing. But for 3 people to live is amazing.

legitposter 05-08-2013 10:27 PM

I can already picture the driver... A big dumb idiot jock that probably fell into the wrangler more than anything, and then took it to the nearest piece of dirt he could find.

tnjeeptj 05-08-2013 10:34 PM

Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it.

JKU.12 05-08-2013 10:35 PM

I'm glad the family survived, especially the boy. I have a 8yr old daughter, and couldn't imagine being in that situation w her and/or the wife.

But that all aside.... I am absolutely awestruck that jeep kept them intact for the most part.

Wasn't there a member here that rolled his jeep on the highway when he got cut off? 3 times I assume and he crawled out of it.

Makes me feel a little better knowing they can roll like that and chance of survival is still there.

That news link is filled with WTF stories...

Double black diamond .... Now it's black and blue diamond.

laollis 05-08-2013 10:51 PM

Proves that ya can't fix stupid. Glad his wife and son are ok. Someone also wrote that he is a cop.

PhotoWrangler 05-08-2013 10:52 PM

Anyone know what kind of tires and lift he is running?

st1264 05-08-2013 11:00 PM

Steep ski slope with your 6yr old in a car seat... priceless. Was it Barney Fife?

whetstone 05-08-2013 11:01 PM

Maybe the pic is really deceiving, but that hill doesn't look particularly dangerous if you pick a good line...

Smythe86 05-08-2013 11:30 PM

I snowboard there every winter. It's a double black ski slope. But it's a bike trail in the summer. It's not a difficult run either way. But shit happens ya know

Tweak 05-09-2013 12:01 AM

looks like someone got the trail diamonds and slope diamonds mixed up.

I was thinking the same thing but know that pics often times don't do the trail justice.

ktulu 05-09-2013 10:38 AM

The Jeep knew it was done for, it tossed the kid out in a final act of love. Now it is in the ultimate wheeling location.

I know someone is wondering if they can pick it up on a salvage title...

RevCo666 05-09-2013 10:46 AM

Maybe the family of that roll over on a "steep" slope should consider safer ways to going about it:

Nello 05-09-2013 11:08 AM

Very lucky to be alive.

MangoTango34 05-09-2013 12:21 PM
