upgrades comming

After kicking around a few things I have decided to perform a few upgrades to Ole Bealach.
ordered:
Spyderlocks
Maxxis Creepy Crawlers
Metal Cloak front and rear overlines
Rockmen full rear corners.
and looking for someone to help weld in the sport cage.
pretty stoked

I'm thinking that maybe that will tide me over till winter.......

You have some awesome work ahead of you.

Your never gonna quit changing the Jeep lol. Pretty soon it won't look like a Jeep anymore. Which sport cage are you going with? And I was just looking at the Metal Cloaks earlier today to replace my fenders. Will have to let us know how you like them.

Upgrades are so overrated, I'm glad I just kept mine stock!! :)

Just kidding, how ever long you plan for the upgrades to take, double or triple the time! I thought I could get mine done in 2-3 weeks and it took 2 months.

Are you going to powder coat the armor and flares or paint?

No kidding on the time for upgrades! I thought I would be done in April? Hah! Front suspension is in, still work to do on the steering and one hideous bracket for the front track bar left up there. Finished fitting the rear crossmember for the three link today. Tomorrow its locate the rear axle position then measure the hell out of everything and start calculating the geometry for the rear suspension. I really hope I get out at least once this summer...

That's true, but Spring is generally my favorite time. However considering we had eight inches of very wet snow last night I guess I'm not missing much except mud...

Trouble is, I like mud :)

Very cool. I love the look of the MetalCloak fenders. I'll PM you my number. Give me a call if you need any help; I'm just 10-15 mins away in Frederick.
