Air Locker Installation?

Where is a good place with some good prices to get some ARB air lockers installed in So-Cal?

You should talk to Stan at Jeep performance out here in Yucaipa...He has worked on pretty much everyone's rigs out this way. Nice choice on the ARB :)

I drive an hour to Walmart or civilization, two for a proper install on a vital part might be worth it.

I drove from San Diego to have JeePerformance install gears and lockers on my Jeep. Knowing its getting done right and having the confidence of their customer support was worth every minute and every dollar in gas for me.

Did you just sit there while they installed it?

I towed my jeep to JPI. Excellent craftmanship and customer service keep me going back. They do great work and back it up. They really care...

I also made the 2 hour trek one way to have my gears and arb installed at JPI. Well worth the drive.

No. I dropped it off Friday night after work and picked it up the following weekend. I had my girlfriend follow me in my other vehicle.

I always weigh the pros and cons.

My worst fear would be going to non reputable shop or even some big name shops for that matter and paying for new gears, new lockers, new chromoly shafts and having them installed wrong grenading the differentials and the shop blaming me for negligence when it was their $12.00 an hour emplyee who screwed it up.

Plus I like giving my money to people I like if I have a choice.

JPI installed my rear ARB + onboard air system. I wouldn't take it anywhere else.

Dakota123 05-09-2013 08:48 PM

I might make the trip out there, I haven't decided yet. 4 hours round trip just seems like a lot

I only live 3.2 miles from JPI but I would go to the end & back to have them work on my jeep. (they built the whole thing) I don't always have my jeep worked on, but when I do........it's JPI :)

Dakota123 05-09-2013 08:56 PM

I had 4 wheel parts do a lot of stuff to my old yj and they are real close but they charge so god damn much for everything
