Has anyone been on this road lately and is public

Michigunman 05-10-2013 08:57 AM

Another controversial one. I have never been there. As I understand it the road is public but there are a lot of off shoots that are not.

jkdreams 05-10-2013 09:40 AM

I was gonna check this out Sunday, but somebody reminded me it was Mother's Day. Mom said thanks Cleveland! I'm pretty sure it's open becuase there are recent posts from other Jeepers on YouTube. This is more local than our last ride.

BTW. I'm scouting Prentice Cooper in TN tomorrow. I know it would be a haul to get there, but it has JEEP DESIGNATED AREAS and it's free. I'll post pics on a new thread this weekend.

Same rules as Lower Sweetwater. I'm good with that.

Yep. It's only 40 minutes from my house. I have been back and forth on checking it out.

MosesTJ 05-10-2013 11:20 AM

I heard it was reAlly fun with a variety of obstacles. Peanut butter pits, a stream crossing, and trails just no rocks.

rfortune 05-10-2013 07:51 PM

Anybody up to hit it tomorrow (Saturday). Supposed to be a little rainy, but that just makes it more fun.

cleveland99 05-10-2013 08:06 PM

We are going tomorrow

tsnell 05-10-2013 08:28 PM

My Daughter is graduating from Nursing tomorrow. She is now an RN. She would not forgive me if I went wheeling.

Not sure where you are but if you are coming up from Atlanta probably easiest to meet at Sheep Wallow.

That's probably it. Deep ruts. Really soupy.

cleveland99 05-11-2013 07:19 PM

MosesTJ 05-11-2013 07:26 PM

Been to Sweetwater once. There's a lotta mud holes. Rock beach at the lake at the end is pretty cool too. Pretty straight forward. Not a whole lot of obstacles.
