How come Las Vegas can get 4 inches of snow, but Philadelphia gets rain? Man, Im so jealous.

orange05tj 12-19-2008 07:35 AM

Still waiting for the snow to come. Supposed to get anywhere from 7"-14". That means we'll get a dusting.

Be really careful you don't develop Jeep balls. You know, that invinceable feeling you can conquer anything at any speed. Stopping is still a huge issue... 4WD or not.

Be careful out there.

KellyK 12-19-2008 09:51 AM

MOz,
Yeah i always keep in mind that i have to be able to stop. I only get those jeep balls when nobody is around and i have nothing to hit but a snow bank.
I found that downshifting is a art form but well worth knowing how to do

4.0l sahara 12-19-2008 10:21 AM

Well it just started to snow here we are suspossed to get 8" to 14" of snow so i will have a little fun later:D

Nels_Anderson 12-19-2008 10:26 AM

Dealing with snow is the reason I own a Jeep :-) In the winter I'd never get up my driveway without 4WD and New England winters are sure to bring plenty of snow. Looks like we're getting our first real storm later today...

Buffalo97 12-19-2008 11:58 AM

Hell Yeah... Buffalo, NY is getting socked right now. My office is closing 3hrs early and we already have 6"...... Oh and Kelly according to that picture you got WAY more than just 6" ........................

(HA HA... that's what she said!!!)

Sorry I couldn't resist!!

Buffalo97 12-19-2008 12:45 PM

sorry, sorry.... I misread!! I know that you got more than a half a foot

charliefoxtrot 12-19-2008 12:47 PM

Jumanji7434 12-19-2008 01:51 PM

Ya winter has officially begun here in MA the snow started falling about an hour ago and we already got about an inch and a half of snow. Can't wait to go out and play!

jdhallissey 12-19-2008 02:03 PM

I got no pics well because it was just me. I tried to get pics of it on snow banks but the renta cops were not having it. We ended up getting about 15 inches of snow. There is more still comin too. Another nite of wheeling I forsee! ya

Sb5551 12-19-2008 03:53 PM

Its still raining outside. :9lame:

603TJ 12-19-2008 04:13 PM

DUMPING in New Hampshire right now. Can't wait for the morning.... just tore my MCL last weekend, so no snowboarding for a month or so... just snow-wheeling. Could be worse I guess!
