Is your JK with 35's+ your first lifted 4x4?

Just wondering how many folks are lifting a JK and it is the first time they have ever driven something with a lift.

kjeeper10 05-13-2013 11:57 AM

TJ had a small BB w/ 32's so the answer is yes.

I see where you are going with this .... I think :whistling:

kramer2k 05-13-2013 03:00 PM

Voted "Yes, and my first 4x4."

I had a 2WD Tacoma on which I installed a leveling lift, but I don't count it. So my JKU is my first lifted 4x4.

OffRoadCam09 05-13-2013 03:08 PM

It's my first lifted vehicle and first I've drove on 35's. Have plenty of 4x4 experience though from driving around a Chevy s10 an silverdo 2500 most of my life

kurtz265 05-13-2013 03:12 PM

Had a chevy blazer, then a jeep commander, but this is 100% my first lifted vehicle

kbwwolf 05-13-2013 03:16 PM

Lifted a Ramcharger, a Bronco and a p/u truck, but none were worthy of the Jeep, results-wise.

Where's he going with this?

nycenglish 05-13-2013 03:18 PM

First lifted here, but not my first 4x4. Wait! I'm thinking an Audi TT Quattro doesn't count right?

nickmimi 05-13-2013 03:19 PM

I have lifted previously owned 1981 CJ5 and 1980 CJ7.

Wharfrat 05-13-2013 03:35 PM

Nope, it's about Jeep #15 for me. Pretty much all of them have been lifted at some point.

First JK though.

What is that, one every other year? Assuming you're a geezer...

dawhitesJKU 05-13-2013 03:45 PM

lifted my 07 5.7 toyota tundra w/ 6 procomp/35's. single digit mpg is no joke so i'm not gonna make the same mistake this time around. sticking with 33's and a small lift for my jeep.

I am 34. About one per year, on average. Some more, some less, and sometimes owning multiple Jeeps at one time :)

I don't think I have ever been Jeepless for more than a couple of months. Even if my DD was something else, I always had a "toy".

Toys rock.

dav5942 05-13-2013 05:01 PM

Jeep #11for us-most lifted.

troy b 05-13-2013 05:23 PM

I had a Tacoma with 5" lift and 32's, then an 05 Unlimited with 4.25" lift and 33's. About to add 2.5-3" and add 35's. Crazy how as I go it takes less lift for larger tires lol!

derf 05-13-2013 07:00 PM

I've had several Jeeps. My JK is my 9th or 10th so far. Certainly not my only lifted Jeep.

This one so far is my favorite:

86 J10 with a 4" spring lift and 35" tires.

nobndry 05-13-2013 08:42 PM

Being that this is my first vehicle, yes it is my first lifted 4x4. :)

MattK 05-13-2013 08:47 PM

My JK isn't lifted yet so I wont vote but I've had three other lifted Toyotas.

Senior Chief 05-13-2013 09:13 PM

Had an ancient International Scout, and an '05 F-150. Both lifted...

Barmanvarn 05-13-2013 10:01 PM

For me yes. First lift, first 33s, and soon to be first 35s.

SilverSport 05-13-2013 10:28 PM

Another poll with out bacon! :banghead:

Rmiller31 05-13-2013 10:34 PM

Had a lifted 95 yj. 4cyl with 33s and a top speed of about 50mph. I'd love to have another yj.

suicideking 05-14-2013 01:40 AM

Yes and first 4x4.

Now I want a full size truck 4x4 next! (will not get rid of the Jeep, just won't be my DD anymore)

socal-jk 05-14-2013 01:47 AM

Go big or go home. I got a pic or two but not on my mobile. K5 Blazer on 1tons with 37"s. She was a big, ugly, nasty b*tch.
