Green light on Mirror?

I searched the manual but see no references to what is that on/off switch and green light showing on the left side of the interior mirror.

Airbag?

Not sure if your talking about windsheild mounted mirror or not. If so and you have map lights, it's the auto dim mirror on/off button.

+1 this!

It will automatically dim when headlights are behind you unless you turn it off so that the green light is off, then it works like any mirror.

Green means on. Orange means off.

For auto dimming.

Thanks for that info... I believe the auto dim is when the left green light is on (windshield rear view mirror).

What's the green light on the right for? I've not seen that one lit which is why I was thinking airbag.

You probably searched the "User's Guide" that came with your Jeep, not the full "Owner's Manual" which can be downloaded here:

Jeep Owners | Download an Owners Manual 2004 - 2011 | Jeep

Or, Jeep customer service will send you a printed copy free for the asking.

From the 2013 Owner's Manual:

Attachment 249089

The "green light" to the right is the sensor, and doesn't light.

Yup, light sensor to detect headlights. You will see the same thing on the front of mirror as well to detect day/night. Mirror only dims if front sensor detects night time and rear detects light. You can test this by covering up front sensor and shining light into rear facing sensor.

Thank you to all that posted. I'll have to download the full Manual.
