Where to get door clips
Anyone know where to get the clips for the rods inside the doors? A couple broke in my driver side door and I have had the panel off while looking for them. Just got off the phone with Quadratec and they do not have them. Junkyards are a waste of time for anything YJ, and I see none on EBay.

I would think Morris 4x4 would have them...

Try "Chrysler door rod clips" on amazon.....

Or go to your local autozone, they have them in the Help! section.....thats where I got mine.....

Why replace a cheap plastic part with another one of the same poor quality? I removed the rod, drilled a small hole in the end, reinserted the rod, slid on a flat washer and then put a cotter pin in the small hole. Done forever---I hope!

I know Chrysler has them for $7 a piece...I passed on that price.

I used to work as a body tech at a body shop...all Chrysler and jeep are pretty much the is the actual Jeep one if you go to the home page and click on jeep and on page two about half way down...this is the same part #...Chrysler Door Lock Rod Clip 5/32 Rod Sz (Right)

I have a bunch of GM that also fit...they are pink and orange...pretty colors...haha!!

Now remember, this one I just posted is for the right side only...the first post is for both....

Yeah at that price I am getting th 20 pack. Thanks for the help man. BTW Morris, Quadratech, Auto Zone, do not have these. I know NAPA does, but NAPA hours are horrible and they are closed when I am not working. Plus they charge like $4 for 3 or 4 of them.

Your welcome, glad to help...I have all kinds of fasteners in boxes and ziplocks stashed everywhere...guys are always asking for some weird clip...and I usually have one...hahaha!!

Another place to look is Auveco...they are the suppliers for ALL fasteners for automotive. That is where we got ours at the shop...
