do these LED light bars seem like a good deal?

Hey guys I found this deal while browsing ebay. I have a smittybilt src front bumper tube style and i was thinking about mounting the led bar on the top two tabs. I was going to buy the 12 inch one from Jeepaddons aka Chris. But i think that's too long for the tabs. I'm in Peru right now so i can't measure the length of space. This auction

Look up Seward led lights on google and go on their page. I just got a 6" bar for my front bumper and it's bright as hell. Plus all their light bars are half the price of any main brand and their also lifetime warranty!

Well these 10 inch one has up to 4000 lumens which if its true its awesome considering that the 12 inch one gas 4300.the other thing is that id be getting two. But my concern is that I've they are made in China and two if they would truly acknowledge their lifetime warranty. i haven't check sewards yet but i still in just a minute.

I'm pretty sure almost all of the led light bars on the market today are made in china....

If you want a good cheap LED bar I would say go with BlackBox. Black Box Logistics - DRX Series

They have 5w CREE LEDs in them and 5700lm for a 12". and those ones you posted say "Our LED chip made from Top 3 of world famous factory", don't know what that is suppose to mean but you probably are getting some cheap LED and they are 3w.

These things are popping up like hot cakes. The technology is no secret anymore and everyone is cashing in on it.
I have several LED bars in various sizes from a notable Chinese manufacturer and the quality is top notch and uses the same materials as Rigid.

Yea I've seen his thread, unfortunately Im a college student and dont have the mullah to spend on a 50 inch led bar plus mounting hardware. And like I said I have the SRC front bumper and I'd like to mount it on the top tabs and idt the 12in bar will fit. I'm not even sure the 10in one will fit if I take into consideration the mounting hardware it comes with. I might have to go with a 6inch one ( I've guesstimated that each leg is about 1.5 inches wide giving it a total length of 9 inches which I THINK is the space for those tabs) I might just have to keep it in my pants and wait till I get back from vacation.... 4 weeks....

I am looking to get this bumper, (link below), but want a low profile look. Can I bolt the light bar directly to the bumper? If not, what other options do I have? Thanks

You probably could. It seems like there is space to put a winch so you can probably mount one to those holes OR if you're not afraid of drilling a couple holes you could go that route. Like me for example I'm considering just cutting off my mounting tabs on my bumper and welding them back on a bit more spread apart to be able to mount the LED bar, then hit it with spray on bed liner and done

joeg679 05-16-2013 09:04 PM

Cool, please post pics if you go that route.

Will do, I'm in Peru right now so I will when I get back and find someone with a welder and grinder wheel

gbendezu 05-16-2013 10:29 PM
