Hahahaha...my wife looks at trucks and jeeps with those and says "Eww...what were they thinking?"

But hey, if any of you have them and like them, then :punk:

Remmy18 05-16-2013 07:56 AM

20" rims

Double Tube bumpers

Diamond plate or chrome accessories of any kind

Grill inserts

DrLecter90210 05-16-2013 07:56 AM

I secretly kind of like the rockstar wheels.

DrLecter90210 05-16-2013 07:57 AM

I also kind of think snorkels are kind of poser Ish unless you are legit using them for their intended purpose.

Used sparingly, there's nothing wrong with chrome.

Grill inserts
Why? They're inexpensive, entirely practical and look good.

Thracks 05-16-2013 08:19 AM

Nothing. Why would I try to force another person to have the same tastes as me?

woansleftpeg 05-16-2013 08:22 AM

I'm not a huge fan of neon lighting under a Jeep, I think that's probably best left to slightly more "bling" vehicles but I largely agree with Thracks. If it works for you, go for it.

Lane24 05-16-2013 08:22 AM

Nothing wrong with grill inserts... especially the DYI kind most of us have. Saves a rock through the rad.

And please don't hang any fake bull testicles of the back of your bumper.... whoever came up with that idea.....

Remmy18 05-16-2013 08:38 AM

I meant the chrome inserts. Mesh has function

Mark b 05-16-2013 08:42 AM

10th Anniversary package?

This...

For some reason it really angers me when I see these, and I have to quench the little desire that builds inside me to punch the owner of the vehicle in the face. I cannot explain the feeling, nor do I like it, but it is there.

groovebus 05-16-2013 08:45 AM

Low profile tires on big rims. If you have a 20 in wheel, you better have a 40 inch tire. Not a 25 in tire. LOL

Hanahaha, I saw a Prius a few days ago with this.

I would tell them to please avoid lifting the jeep on the stock steelies. What are they 29's or something on a 3" inch lift. Something just didn't compute there.

Not a huge fan of rockstar wheels, but don't hate them. As long as they aren't too big on the jeep they look fine to me.

WatchThis! 05-16-2013 08:53 AM

10 to 1 says someone gets butt hurt in a bad way over this thread. That being said I am not a fan of Halo lights on a jeep at all, even on a dedicated mall crawler.

kramer2k 05-16-2013 09:06 AM

^ Yep, butt hurt = bickering = thread lock.

I find these threads pointless, but I'll post whore in it anyways. :D

I'm not a fan of any 'built' rig that isn't used for it's intended purpose, but I don't waste time worrying about it. Someone will eventually get a used rig with everything they need, but not beat up, so it's really a win..

Barmanvarn 05-16-2013 09:08 AM

I don't always troll, but when I do it's on threads like this. LOL

Mods that make your Jeep a Douche Canoe

I firmly believe to buy your vehicles for function, but I know there are others out there will disagree, I am all for making you ride look good so any mod is good if you like it... That said do not buy a Wrangler to roll 20" rims with lo-pro tires, fully chromed with LED or Fluorescent hi-lite lighting down the boulevard. Wranglers were purpose built vehicles for those who like to ride topless off the beaten path.

Mod with Function being your first priority, and looks your second, and in the end you will have a Bada$$ Wrangler that other Jeepers will love to talk about with you. Remember there is no right way to Mod a Jeep only your way.

Also, if you build your rig for offroading then you might be more inclined to actually go and do it.

guppy 05-16-2013 09:17 AM

LOL! I think the Rockstars... well... Rock!
I think any wheel smaller than 17" belongs on a Mini Cooper.
But 15's and 16's are accepted and expected if you still rock a "Mullet" haircut.
And for crying out loud throw away that Starsky and Hutch t-shirt.
Opinions are personal, and everyone is entitled to theirs.
Just keep a sense of humor, because if you like it who really cares.

But to keep on topic (with the disclaimer that this is just my opinion, and if you have one of these that's awesome because it's your Jeep and you can do whatevs you want): stick family decals, but that applies to any vehicle.
